Let's Start With The Basics. KAASH !
On the eve of a historical day in the life of our beloved Pakistan, 11th of August, it is my privilege to attach a document which contains the Quaid's historical address to the first Constituent Assembly of Pakistan-indeed a silver lining in the dark cloud engulfing our nation.
Lot of time has passed but none of us have any answers why on earth, just after the death of our Quaid, the leadership who took over the command and the successive governments have never bothered to revisit every word of this soul searching address. It is also amazing that this important document did not find a place in our Constitution.
It is high time for all of us to gather an opinion and prevail upon our so called elected leaders to study and also not only incorporate the same in our Constitution, but also take tangible steps to ensure that the Quaid's advice is followed in letter and spirit.
