Instant messagers have long been one of the Net's true killer applications. Integrity Messenger allows users to integrate separate chat accounts, supporting access to the ICQ, Yahoo, MSN, and AOL networks. That means that users can use the same interface to reach virtually all their contacts, instead of having to use separate programs for each separate service. We liked Integrity's ability to send a message to several contacts at once, as well as the ability to save settings online, so they can follow the user to a different machine. The interface is elegantly designed, with a tab system allowing several conversations to be held in the same window. The program also includes support for voice chatting, IRC, and checking Web-based e-mail. Some of the features can be buggy; the file transfer failed in our tests, for example. We also would like to see the program use less system memory. However, Integrity Messenger certainly has the power to make life easier for computer users who routinely use multiple chat services.Integrity Messenger is the ultimate co-brandable real-time communication software.
