It's been 16 hours since controversial star Veena Malik went missing from Mumbai mysteriously.
But highly placed sources reveal that the actress was depressed since past few days after her altercation with parents.
It is learnt that after innumerable controversies, her parents had planned to disown their daughter, which had also depressed Veena.

Conterversies List of Veena Malik
A) In 2001 stills from a purported nude photoshoot surfaced on the Internet. Veena denied she had ever posed for the pictures and dismissed them as fake. "Those are fake pictures. I am not bothered about them since those are not my photographs. I know there is a striking identical resemblance between the girl in those snaps and me but just resemblance takes us nowhere," she was quoted as saying.
B) She was accused in 2004 of being involved in indecent acts by one of her co-stars. After filming a cross-border venture with Bollywood named Pind Di Kuri, actress Sheeba Butt added, "That is what her real character is like. It is a matter of disrespect for us." This came after Veena's comments that Sheeba's acting etiquette 'had tarnished the image of Pakistan by causing a loss' of Rs 70,000 to the Indian Punjabi producer Iqbal Singh Dhillon for which Veena claims she had to compensate for from her own pocket.
C) In 2007 Veena and fellow actress Meera made a lot of harsh comments about each other in interviews. Veena even stated that Meera threatened to throw acid on her face, but this could not be verified. Meera's personal assistant Mukhtar left her and started working with Veena, which caused Meera a lot of anger, and she even accused Veena of having an affair with Mukhtar.
D) It was revealed in 2009 that Malik had married cricketer Mohammad Asif in a court in London. However, this was denied by both of them, despite pictures revealing their affection towards each other. In April 2010, it was widely speculated that Malik provided escort services to Asif in 2008, for which she demanded a large sum of around $153,000 and wanted to escalate the claim to court. E) In 2009 came reports that she had split with actor Babrak Shah over charges of infidelity with Asif. Soon after Asif married Sana Hilal in Lahore, Veena slapped him with a legal notice demanding that the cricketer return a sum of Rs. 1.5 crore that he had allegedly borrowed from her. In an interview to The Nation in June 2010, Veena described her engagement with Shah and friendship with Asif as a 'great blunder'.
F) Veena Malik participated in Big Boss and became a friend of Ashmit Patel, a co star at the show. after some time she gave an impression that they were more then just friends and shooted some bold scenes. Pakistani viewers were shocked to see her relationships in the so called live reality show.
G) Veena Malik claimed that she has received a letter from TALEBAN. and then she applied for Indian VISA :)
H) The latest update about veena malik is about the almost nude photoshoot at FHM india. Veena has denied about this photoshoot and claimed that these photos are modified.
