Stunning photographs of  early 1900's

These are all stunning photos. He had no computer, no photo shop, no print shop, no colour film. These were taken by a Russian photographer in the late 1800's and early 1900's in several countries in colour.

 

He used a three plate camera with black and white film, each film exposed through either a red, green or blue filter, then he printed each film on a single piece of special colour paper through the complementary filters of cyan, magenta and yellow, creating a colour image on the paper, a very tedious process that produces a colour image that will last centuries and the black and white negatives also will last that long for reprinting.
