Farmer Has Double Arm Transplant. Check this out - a farmer from Germany has become the first person ever to have a double arm transplant. Karl Merk lost his arms in a farm accident six years ago, but in July, doctors did a 15-hour operation to fix the donor arms to his body.

Man Gets First-ever Double Arm Transplant
The unidentified 54-year-old farmer lost both arms in an accident. It took a team of 40 doctors, nurses and assistants to complete the attachment.
