PhotoJam 3.0
This program makes creating slide shows and screensavers a breeze, though you'll trade configurability for that ease of use. PhotoJam's interface is basically a step-by-step wizard that walks you through the entire creation process, though we didn't appreciate that the program hijacks your entire screen and can't be resized to windowed mode. Making a slide show is a three-step process. You simply add a folder of images, choose from a variety of preset music, then select a display style. We wished for the ability to add our own MP3s as a sound track, but the trial version disables this feature, along with the publishing tool. We would also have liked to choose our own transitions and set our own image-interval times, but PhotoJam limits you to the effects and display times found in its templates. You can share your slide shows via e-mail but if you want to make a screensaver, you'll need to download additional components from the Web. PhotoJam is best for those seeking a hassle-free, paint-by-the-numbers solution; those seeking a high level of control should look elsewhere. PhotoJam is a tool designed to help you create new and fun ways to design and deliver an innovative presentation. PhotoJam allows you to combine your music and photos to create amazing shows in three easy steps. All you need to get started are a few digital images and a bit of imagination. Assemble your photos in any order, set the mood with diverse, fully licensed music, select the method of display, and you're ready to go. Select music from diverse genres, such as rock, country, classical, world beat, and more. Display styles range from '80s video, kaleidoscope, old film, and more. Experience your photos in a whole new light.
